People Partner: Builds and maintains strong relationships with employees at all levels within their respective corporate client group to include the extended HR community in addition to cross-functional colleagues.
Talent Management: Together with HR leadership supports talent strategies, completes new leader assimilations, supports onboarding, and helps facilitate mobility within brands. Additionally, coaches people managers to develop stronger leaders and bolster their talent management and HR competencies.
Performance Management: Ensures management consistently applies performance management philosophy and practices aligned to business and people strategies. Successfully manages complex performance issues.
Employee Relations: Skillfully manages resolution of employee issues including escalation of sensitive or urgent employee relations matters.
Trend Analysis: Monitors external and internal trends, spots issues and provides analysis and recommendations.
Employee Engagement: Leads efforts in analyzing engagement surveys, focus groups and exit interviews and takes an active role in action planning and monitoring progress against plans.
Project Management: Leads and/or supports HR projects or represents HR on Cross-functional initiatives.

The accomplished individual will possess...
A Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Human Resources preferably within a Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
Retail industry experience a plus.
Experience with performance management, talent management, talent development, and change management.
Familiarity with organizational design a plus.
Proven experience providing strategic and tactical support to leaders, managers and employees.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
The ability to diagnose problems in addition to identifying and driving appropriate solutions.
Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization.
Demonstrated ability to challenge convention.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action.
Experience working with Legal, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HRIS and Immigration a plus.
Advanced experience with Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Visio and SuccessFactors a plus.
Ability to travel locally (New York City & New Jersey).
