Full Job Description
The Manager – Supply Chain Analytics will be responsible for the creation and implementation of strategic programs and solutions with responsibility and accountability to the leadership team for the successful delivery of the SDC Optimization: Consignment initiative. This Manager simultaneously manages multiple projects in various stages with impacts to the business in the multi-million dollar range.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20% Leads the implementation of seasonal freight flow programs in close collaboration with internal Supply Chain and Merchandising partners, as well as external Supplier stakeholders. Responsible and accountable to the leadership team for successful and timely delivery of SDC Optimization & SPP goals.
20% Develops an effective plan for communicating information to the project team and stakeholders. Develops timelines, status reports, and scorecards, and creates/presents project updates and strategy to senior leadership. Determines project issues/risks and manages their timely resolution.
20% Maintains a close and positive relationship with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth and seamless integration of new programs into regular operations.
20% Develop resource strategies necessary for efficient and effective program management. Provide thought leadership and mentorship to the team as they develop greater technical, project management, and communication skills.
10% Provides tactical and strategic business knowledge towards the development of IT solutions.
10% Ad-hoc gathering and analysis of large sets of data typically using SQL and Advanced Excel

Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP
Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.
Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.
Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change in direction
Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data
Experience in data mining, statistical analysis and/or forecasting
Prior direct experience in analyzing Distribution operations and/or Inventory management
Ability to communicate with leadership on various cross-functional projects
Tableau / Data Visualization / SQL experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and derive conclusions based on large sets of data. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory and SQL and/or Tableau experience is preferred.
Direct experience managing US drayage operations.
Experience procuring drayage rates and/or assisting with an annual bid.
Project management experience.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
