Eastside Academics School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit school that offers college prep education to students in grades 6-12 in small class sizes that range from 3-6 students. We are dedicated to helping each student reach their potential by teaching executive functioning skills and self-advocacy to prepare them for college after high school.

We are seeking a high school math and science teacher.

Position Description: This teacher will teach math classes that range from Algebra 1 – Pre Calculus and Math Models. They will teach science classes such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. They are responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, grading assignments and assessments, updating a grading program weekly, participating in weekly staff meetings, working with a mentor teacher and reporting daily student progress. For this position, the teacher must have experience tutoring or teaching students in high school. A college degree is a must, a teaching certificate is a plus. The position will start at the beginning of September and continue through the end of the school year (June) with the possibility of continuing for summer school. This position requires a teacher to have a passion for math and science, patience and flexibility with students who struggle and a positive and professional demeanor.


- Bachelor of Arts or Science or higher

- Previously related experience tutoring or teaching high school age students
