Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Billing Specialist to provide support to Edgewater Federal Solutions located in Frederick, MD.
This position will focus on all expense related activities and functions of the organization such as but not limited to:
Process weekly billing invoice internally in our Unanet system and in the customer's internal portal (Unanet training will be provided).
Compile and reconcile weekly data from subcontractors into our Unanet system for invoicing.
Ensure billable expenses are captured on the customer invoice with the appropriate receipts.
Process any invoice corrections needed due to timesheet adjustments.
Setup any new tasks requested by customer in the company's Unanet timekeeping system.
Assign employees to various tasks needed for them to complete their timesheets.
Prepare and maintain annual reports to provide to the customer.
Participate in the annual customer invoicing audits and provide any necessary documents requested.
Provide internal project financial reports to managers and executives as requested.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred, but not required:
Experience with Unanet
Experience with US Government Contracting Industry
Experience with SCA employees
Knowledgeable in DCAA compliance and regulations
