Designs, produces and manages the production of all marketing material for direct mail, brochures, display ads, digital signage, POP, presentations, logos, and other marketing efforts from conception to completion.
Manages all aspects of the credit union’s website and contributes ideas regarding the visual experience.
Assists in creation of marketing tools for other departments, SEG presentations, Expos, customer events, and meetings to ensure that the integrity of the credit union’s brand and marketing theme is maintained.
Contributes ideas to the AVP Marketing regarding marketing campaigns.
Visits credit union branches to ensure marketing materials are displayed properly or removed promptly after campaigns.
Collaborates with printers and other vendors to obtain accurate price quotes, provide press-ready files, and ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and established timeframes.
Evaluates emerging technologies in the marketing industry, remains current on graph design trends, and makes recommendations to the AVP Marketing for implementation as appropriate.
Participates in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, Symphony, and the credit union’s training department.
Ensures that the delivered products or services adhere to the policies and standards of the Credit Union
Delegates job responsibilities among junior team members and oversees that quality work is being completed within the deadline
Completes the project work within the timeline and estimated budget
Oversees that new techniques and processes are used to provide best quality of designs
Stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures used in designs
Suggests new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issues
Chooses the right style, attractive graphics, images, and other visual elements according to the objectives of the project
Works in collaboration with colleagues across different departments
Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.
Adheres to the SJFCU Service Standards as established.
Three (3) or more years of experience in graphic design.
Valid, unexpired Driver’s License with no major violations
