Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of software development experience.
Experience in C++ and scripting.
Experience with hardware and software stacks.
PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, other technical related field.
Experience with the following: modeling/simulation, performance trade-off analysis, computer architecture, firmware and kernel driver development, or building tools, automation and tests.
Experience with QEMU/KVM or other emulators/hypervisors.
Experience in new hardware design (e.g. chips, storage, servers networking, etc.).
Experience with accelerator systems (e.g. PCI, memory management, data movement, etc.).

Our group’s mission is to accelerate compute development. We use software simulation and modeling to accelerate compute development across Platforms and Cloud.

Understand the target platform end-to-end software and hardware.
Decide what to model, how to model it, and at what fidelity.
Surface issues in target platform to platform owners early in development.
Get feedback and requirements from users and suggest improvements.
Build reusable components and infrastructure that makes modeling fast and easy to do.
