Position Title: Manager, Partner+ Marketing
Reports to: Sr. Director, Enterprise Partnerships
Division: Strategic Development
Position Summary: Sales Account Manager focused on aggressive new revenue goals and new client acquisition. Develop, manage, and execute advertising/media opportunities within Insurance, Finance, Near Endemic, and Non-Endemic partners. Develop strategies and tactics to grow multi-level relationships at both the client and agency level.
Preferred locations are New York, NY Irvine, CA or Chigago, IL but will consider all Nationwide Remote Locations
Act as the primary point-of-contact between Insurance, Finance, Near Endemic and Motorcycle partners for Kelley Blue Book and Auto Trader.
Attain and exceed all advertising and business development sales goals as determined by Cox Management within each area of responsibility.
Achieve and surpass monthly and yearly revenue targets.
Develop proactive proposals for clients as well as respond to RFPs from clients in a timely fashion. Be creative by partnering with key stakeholders cross departmentally to find and secure new segments of audience to bring to NEND partners.
Develop business plans for expansion of KBB and Auto Trader advertising revenue for Near Endemic (Finance, Insurance, Parts & Service) and Motorcycles.
Implement the Challenger sales approach within all aspects of day-to-day sales and operational functions.
Drive thought leadership as the marketing expert through ongoing dialogue with the agencies and near endemic customers challenging and inspiring them with new ideas, solutions, programs, performance data, and research positioning KBB and AutoTrader as a Top Tier publisher for their digital marketing solutions.
Utilize SalesForce.com to track and log all important sales activities and to define pipeline opportunities.
Proactively partner with product to ensure optimizations across all placements for KBB and ATC. Report back needs of client and prioritize within the current product queue.
Work with Ad product to build out a more focused Near Endemic and Motorcycle product offering to support a higher revenue opportunity and traffic growth.
Work with Account Managers/Sales Assistants to track all campaign delivery, performance, and optimization on a weekly and monthly basis.
Collaborate and work closely with Research, Analytics, Market Intelligence.
Maintain visibility and credibility for Cox within the advertising/media/automotive communities developed and maintained through ongoing participation, leadership, and contribution to the marketplace.
Entertain agency clients at various events in order to build strong relationships in a non-vendor setting, weekly as needed.
Provide financial reporting to management on all existing partners including revenue forecasting and projection reports.
Overnight travel (up to 40%) by land and/or air
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships.
Skilled in all forms of negotiations.
Proven success at meeting sales goals and objectives.
Polished and professional presentation. Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and writing skills.
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, presentations, etc.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as CPM’s, CPC’s, and CPV’s.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
