For more than 23 years, we have helped people learn more about the Kingdom of God through our three primary outreaches. These outreaches include two national television programs, Drenda and Fixing the Money Thing, and our local non-profit organization, Faith Life Church. We reach millions of people worldwide every year!
We are looking for a full-time writer and content creator who is passionate about helping people learn more about the Kingdom of God.
The perfect person for this role is a confident writer, known for being helpful, patient, creative, flexible, respectful, and a team player. They love to help and encourage others, and can confidently write about topics like faith, healing, family life, relationships, and the Holy Spirit. We are looking for someone comfortable juggling multiple brand voices, projects, and deadlines. They need to be comfortable writing articles, social copy, product descriptions, e-blasts, and more.
You are a confident writer who is familiar with the basics of writing marketing copy and email drips without sounding cheesy or pushy.
You're able to write copy that is dynamic, engaging, and even humorous.
You are familiar with the beliefs of Faith Life Now and are comfortable writing about them, including topics on faith, healing, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, money, marriage, and more.
You love writing articles and copy that influences people toward a better life.
You have experience developing, writing, and planning your content.
Who You'll Be Working With:
The writers are a part of our Communications Team, a fun, energetic, and extremely creative department! They're infamous for celebrating obscure holidays, learning French together, and having chicken nugget eating contests true story. You will report to Kirsten, our Communications Director, who loves to help people learn and grow in their giftings. You'll also work closely with our other content creators, Jordyn, Erin, and Carisa, our social media specialist, Micah, our editor, Jodi, and our graphic designers, Bethany and Jenna. All in all, the Communications Department is more than an office, it's a family... you know, the kind that turns sneezing into a competition and takes awkward family photos.
No Crazy Hours
At Faith Life Now, we strongly value work and family-life balance. We rarely have to work more than our scheduled hours, and on the rare occasions when we do, we take time off afterward, so it all balances out. We also try to be flexible, so if you have to leave early for an appointment, we do our best to accommodate it!
