Principal, AWS Intern Experience Program Manager
The AWS New Employee Success Team is looking for an innovative learning and development expert to be responsible for designing, building, and managing global delivery of AWS’ Intern Experience Program. Standing up this program will require conducting a comprehensive needs analysis and partnering with Amazon’s Student Programs Team to create a high-bar experience designed to accelerate intern success. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of innate curiosity and proven expertise in the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning and development programs at scale. Proficiency with data gathering, analysis, and presentation of insights is critical. Additionally, this role requires continuous inspection of program effectiveness and identification of opportunities to simplify, scale, and drive impact.

The right candidate for this role will demonstrate:
  • Track record of successfully designing, developing, and delivering high-profile / high-impact learning and development programs to a global audience using a variety of techniques (e.g., instructor-led workshops, self-paced online courses and/or videos, on-the-job training, role play, and simulations)
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, motivate cross-functional teams, and self-start
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, paired with sound business judgment and ability to see around corners
  • Experience measuring program impact against pre-defined success metrics
  • Proven ability to employ data-driven decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or an MBA
  • Experience developing and driving large scale student and/or early career pipeline programs across multiple geographies
