Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic vascular imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound technology and possess excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Analyze ultrasound images and generate accurate reports for interpretation by physicians.
-Generate vascular preliminary reports
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Registered ARDMS, RVS, or RVT acceptable.
-Must be certified vascular.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding imaging techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule and Compensation:
This position offers a part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week, providing flexibility for work-life balance. As an independent contractor, the Vascular Ultrasound Technician will be compensated on a 1099 basis, with competitive pay commensurate with experience.
