The Lexus Santa Monica Internet Sales Manager has the opportunity to interact with hundreds of customers… their primary goal is to professionally interact and consult with Lexus Santa Monica Internet guests and personally guide them through the vehicle selection process online and in person.

To that end, a Lexus Santa Monica Internet Sales Manager’s responsibilities generally include:

  • Correspond with 50-60 Internet sales prospects each month via email
  • Handle heavy outbound and inbound phone calls with prospects effortlessly
  • Maintain an average closing ratio of 20% of internet leads
  • Achieve average response time on all internet correspondence of 15 minutes or less.
  • Adhere to Lexus Santa Monica’s Internet Sales Process explicitly
  • Generates business through Internet sources.
  • Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by answering guest questions and listening carefully to their responses over the Internet.
  • Utilize CRM to garner repeat and referral business, working database.
  • Be aware of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to guests.
  • Documents all sales correspondence in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Communicates with Finance to ensure all stipulations for finalizing the paperwork are completed.
  • Maintains and achieves the sales and customer satisfaction objectives set by management.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
  • Maintains professional appearance at all times
  • Present the entire lineup of Lexus vehicles, model options, features, Lexus Santa Monica amenities, purchase and finance options to our guests.
  • Deliver memorable test drives.
  • Be aware of the latest Lexus products, features and accessories
  • Attend product and training courses.
  • Personalizing the vehicle delivery to the customer's needs.
  • Providing smooth transition to the Lexus Technology Specialist for future needed information or to resolve concerns.
  • Maintaining a collection of product information and resources to assist in explanations.

Who Would I Interact With?

This position interacts daily with Customers, Sales Managers, other Sales Associates, Delivery Specialists, Financial Services Managers, Service Managers and Service Advisors, just to name a few.

How will I know if I am successful?

  • Achieve targeted volume and gross profit goals while maintaining Elite Level CSI Indexes
  • Complete all organizer tasks on time each day
  • Maintain acceptable closing ratio on Internet leads

What are the requirements for this job?

· Previous automotive sales experience in INTERNET SALES
· Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
· Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
· Experience and desire to work with technology
· Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
· Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong presentation skills
· Master of technology, especially automotive and personal electronics
· Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organization and follow-up skills
· Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
· Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
