As an Accounting & Human Resources Assistant, you will fill a support role in the processing of accounting and human resources related information. You will be focused on accurately processing and maintaining the hotel’s billing in accordance with company standards. Likewise, you will be focused on accurately mandating human resources administrative responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 1 or more years’ progressive experience in administration and accounting field, preferably in hotel accounting, cashier/bank teller or College Degree and 1 year of accounting experience.
Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, love to smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
Assist Department Head/General Manager to oversee the duties of accounts receivables and HR administration.
Accounting responsibilities are as follows
Ensure hotel billing is processed and mailed in a timely fashion.
Make phone calls to all new billings and outstanding accounts to keep Accounts Receivable Aging in line with accounting S.O.P.s and corporate standards.
Post all city ledger payments daily according to the daily mail cash receipts.
Maintain a filing system for direct billing.
Perform an income audit on a daily basis, using the income audit checklist to maintain and ensure the accuracy of the income/flash reports.
Human Resources responsibilities are as follows:
Administrative support to the department.
Ensured proper filing and processing of all employee documents
Make new hire packages an asset in the onboarding of new hires
Update the Employee communication areas
Carry on monthly routine tasks for the department
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
