About the job
You will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, and delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage inventory
- Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
- Manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, set work schedules, and provide ongoing employee training and development
- Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
- Maintain high safety standards, conduct audits, and enforce safety policies
- Ensure adherence to all plant and safety, food safety, GMP and sanitation regulations
- Develop and implement best practices
- Promote and demonstrate continuous improvement within the facility
- Develop and maintain departmental budget
- Ensure proper full goods and raw materials rotation
- Maintain warehouse equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of warehouse management experience
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- 5 years of inventory management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Inventory management system software experience preferred
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
