Under the direct supervision of the Contract Manager, the OSS/Business Development staff is responsible for providing support services to the Victor Administrative office in the areas of business development projects, contract management activities, Agency training activities, and public relations activities.
Provides clerical and administrative support to Agency Business Development and Contract Management functions.
Provides the primary administrative support for Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, oversees final publication of all RFPs/Grants submitted and tracks all awards and denials of submitted proposals.
Provides primary administrative support to Victor Training Services (VTS) including quality assurance of all Agency training events.
Conducts ongoing research and manages internal systems for determining and maintaining compliance requirements related to Agency and personnel standards for certification, vendorization, accreditation, and CEUs.
Provides primary administrative support for all public relations activities, including participation in the Victor Public Relations Work Group and content management for social media and web-based communications.
Provides backup for the Office Services Support/Receptionist.
Must have knowledge of basic office skills and equipment.
Must possess above average skills and aptitude with MS Office products.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing, and orally in the English Language.
Must demonstrate computer/typing proficiency as determined by the task list.
Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel Policy; Motor Vehicle Operating Standards. Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
