JOB SUMMARY: Provides EHR, electronic health record, support to end users to resolve issues. Refers matters outside their scope of duties to the Help Desk Manager.
Assists end users in resolving EHR issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication and monitoring the Fresh Desk ticket system for multiple clients.
Diagnosis problems, performs troubleshooting activities and opens Support tickets as needed.
Assists with testing new versions of EHR applications and documenting potential workflow changes.
Follows process for system set up/configuration within EHR
Performs duties relying on established guidelines, professional discretion and direction from EHR Lead and or Helpdesk Manager, if needed, to accomplish daily job functions.
Tracks and ensures daily processes are completed and or provides coverage while other staff are out
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience.
Must be familiar with an EHR application and set up/configuration processes.
2-4 years EHR Support and set up/configuration experience
Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, contractors, patients etc. Must possess good organizational skills, handle multiple tasks concurrently and be able to work effectively with all levels of aforementioned groups.
Position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting and reaching. Requires full range of body motion including manual, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
