Hours/Week: 40 hours Location: US:NY:Canton
This position is responsible for the supervision of staff within the Deposit Operations Reconciliation and Specialized Account Services departments.
Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
Monitor the efficiency and accuracy of the work flow of the departments.
Review daily and month-end reconcilement reports for accuracy.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all legal and information requests and subpoenas.
Develop and maintain relationships with various external vendors, including cash delivery channel representatives, various local and state regulatory departments, attorneys and IOLA boards.
Work closely with other supervisors to ensure efficiency and accuracy in work completed by the department.
Interview and hire new staff, resolve employee issues, provide coaching and disciplinary action when needed and complete evaluations.
Work with supervisor to implement improvements to ensure all work functions are complete and accurate.
An Associates Degree or equivalent with an emphasis on accounting. Experience in customer service environment normally required.
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
Above average interpersonal communication and supervisory skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Three (3) years of experience in accounting or related position required. Previous supervisory or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
As an integral member of the Deposit Operations Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Deposit Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.
