St. Luke’s seeks a Vice President of Population Health for Boise, Elmore, and McCall, focused on leading, designing and executing on strategic operational objectives. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and the Interim Vice President of Acute Care Administration, the Vice President of Population Health Area:
Demonstrates a record of progressive and dynamic leadership growth in a strategic and operational capacity with experience at the C-suite level.
Performs at the strategic executive level with a primary role in executing on system-wide results.
Experience and background leading complex, strategic initiatives as a market, region, or population health leader supporting multiple sites, including Critical Access Hospitals, Tertiary Care centers, and complex services lines (Heart, Children’s, Neurosciences, etc.)
Responsible for shaping and executing on strategic objectives defined by the SLHS organizational strategy.
Holds primary accountability to community boards and drives community health and population health initiatives.
Leads and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach that drives desired population health outcomes to support a moderately manage care model across the continuum.
Drives population health area results, leveraging key metrics and success measures that ensure accountability, and improve quality and operational efficiency, with a focus on levers that enable continuous improvement.
Ensures the implementation of best practices within the operating units to achieve organizational objectives, including the provisions of patient-centered, high-quality, cost-effective services.
Holds a strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and ensures achievement of quality and patient safety outcomes by implementing processes and systems to deliver high quality, efficient care.
Develops direct reports and fosters a culture of collaboration, engagement, and inclusion with all stakeholders across the Population Health Area.
Master’s degree in health care administration or related field (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA)
Minimum 12 years relevant experience
Hospital management and progressive leadership experience highly preferred.
C-suite experience highly preferred.
