Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of work experience in program management, project management, marketing, product specialist or similar role on a consumer product.
Experience working in mobile, e-commerce, gaming, or digital content.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience with operational excellence, process optimization and efficiency. Extremely organized and detail focused.
People management experience.
Experience working with content management tools and experience working in a global team.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience successfully managing a globally-distributed contracted team.
Comfortable submitting and reviewing changes to configuration files and working with related software development tools.
About the job
As an Operations Manager, you'll program manage all of the offers the team runs on the Play Store and oversee operations for the team, with the goal of increasing the scale of our programs. You will craft new processes to support new areas of business. You'll drive outstanding product excellence that results in increased campaign performance, and work closely with our Product Specialists and Product Marketing Managers on the testing of new promotional capabilities and tools. You will begin managing a team of 3 contracted operations associates, and will work cross-functionally across the Merchandising Marketing teams, Legal, and Product, to bring the Store lifecycle campaigns from concept to life.

Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.

People manage a global team of contractors; communicate expectations/goals, provide direction, monitor performance, resolve escalations, remove roadblocks, oversee related administrative tasks.
Program manage the implementation of all Play buyer retention offers, working across the Merchandising, Legal, and Product and Operations teams.
Lead campaign implementation, including campaign setup, T&Cs creation, localization support, and Q.A. Provide assistance with troubleshooting of campaign issues, interacting with product and engineering for resolution where appropriate.
Continually optimize team’s processes in order to allow the team to scale. Drive and provide training and education to the team on offer capabilities and processes.
Understand the details of the offer infrastructure and act as a technical capabilities consultant to marketers. Launch core Store product features and market expansion requiring operational support.
