Sr. Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer
The DiamondITSr. Solutions Architectis responsible for supporting the needs of the Solutions Consultants (Sales) team by providing technical guidance and validation on our products and services. TheSr. Solutions Architectalso acts as a liaison between the Sales Team and other departments within the company, such as the Service Desk or Projects Team. This individual is responsible for understanding all of DiamondIT’s core services, including, but not limited to cloud, data center infrastructure, software development, and professional services. The role also requires maintaining current vendor training and certifications required for the technologies we sell—currently, this includes Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware. TheSr. Solutions Architectsupports the Solutions Consultant by interviewing and interpreting prospective and existing customer needs and providing the appropriate DiamondIT solution offering. The primary responsibilities of this role are focused on the development of the sales opportunity and ensuring that there is technical validation and accuracy of the solution provided. This role ensure that we can deliver what we are selling within the expected gross margin established for that service.
