Senior Product Manager, Upstream Marketing – Patient Monitoring
Deerfield, IL (Flexible Work Arrangements are Available)
Drive the global strategy, development and execution of bringing to market Baxter’s Next Generation Specialized Patient Monitoring Platform
Collaborate with global cross-business and cross-function stakeholders to gather/synthesize feedback to develop new integrated capital monitoring system
We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative and strategic individual with demonstrated/strong marketing, leadership and influencing acumen - and results.
Leadership, influencing and collaborative role in the global development of new capital monitoring systems
Collaborate/ partner closely with the global regions, key opinion leaders, industry partners and other stakeholders to develop/execute effective product and commercial strategies to drive business growth
Gain voice of customer, market research, etc. to develop a product pipeline/drive the commercial requirements (customer, product, and business needs) on New Product Development programs
Partner closely with key thought leaders to anticipate the future market environment, changes in trends, onset of new competitors, including substitutes/adjacent players, and predict/drive future needs
Develop marketing messages based on global strategies, competitive environment and regulatory/legal requirements
Perform market research to assess viable opportunities/measure the impact of marketing programs/campaigns
Lead portfolio strategy development/budgeting activities.
Interface regularly with customers/regional partners through travel, medical congresses, symposia and hospital sites to better understand/deliver against customer needs.
Understand, track and interpret market share, pricing, and competitive dynamics globally
6+ years of relevant business experience in marketing, sales, engineering or a related field is required.
Highly collaborative and comfortable working closely with customers and with a range of cross-functional business partners.
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks through effective prioritization in order to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
Consistently pushes self and others to achieve challenging goals and objectives with a track record of executional successes based on integrity. Can be counted on to achieve goals and is both top & bottom-line oriented.
Demonstrated results in effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others on the course of action, particularly in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated strengths in analytical skills, including a proven ability to synthesize/utilize market data and customer insights to develop effective marketing strategies, collateral and communications
Strong clinical acumen and ability to come up to speed quickly on new products.
Able to excel in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
International and domestic travel up to 25%.
Education & Experience
BS/BA Required; MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in medical device and/or digital health marketing, including product development experience
Global Marketing, upstream marketing, experience strongly preferred
Patient Monitoring or Infusion Pump experience strongly preferred
