The Parts Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that spare parts and other equipment necessary to keep the facility running smoothly are available and deployed when needed. This position will coordinate with facilities shops for parts runs and deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts room
Maintain an accurate inventory
Perform physical inventories of parts, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools
Receive and verify incoming shipments of parts and supplies
Assist technicians and mechanics with locating parts needed for repairs
Communicate with vendors for receiving and distribution of parts
Support programs that identify and accounts for assets
Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of all applicable rules, regulations and controls of the property
Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety requirements and casino safety polices
Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report every 6 months and immediately notify department leader of any changes to the Driver’s License status

High School diploma or equivalent required
At least six months of similar experience in a Facilities department
Must be able to maintain a clean DMV record
Basic knowledge and understanding of inventory procedures
A thorough and detailed knowledge of computerized inventory management systems
Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English
Excellent customer service skills
Polished appearance and demeanor
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Members or guests
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls. The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
