This individual will support our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program - specifically conducting the government provided shipboard test procedures and documenting test completion and test discrepancies. Must be physically able to work aboard a US Navy ship, lift up to 50lbs, work in a loud environment and support short underway periods. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in support of business and TDY travel to all domestic locations that Aegis ships might operate from including but are not limited to: Pearl Harbor, HI, Norfolk, VA, Everett, WA, Mayport, FL, Bath ME, Pascagoula, MS.
The work is performed at our customer site in Pascagoula MS. Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and have an active Department of Defense secret clearance.
Ensure all resource requirements are in place to properly execute each test event
Assist in the coordination of sea trial testing, including training participants on respective test procedures and reviewing status of test results
Conduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test procedures
Inform the ATO/ATM of test related issues and requirements
Support other Test Directors/Lead in coordinating to ensure successful completion of all combat system test events
Ensure that all test, training, and operational event reports are collected from their respective team leaders and test results are promptly recorded.
Associate degree with 1+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience without a degree
Experience with large scale Ship Integration and Test Practice
