An executive nursing leadership opportunity is currently available for a Regional Nurse Director Critical Care with an award-winning acute care system in the Tri-State region. The Cincinnati, Ohio metropolitan area features a vibrant riverfront entertainment region, top-rated higher education and affordable and desirable neighborhoods.
The Health System features a 400+ Bed Flagship hospital with “A” rated Leapfrog status and multiple U.S. News and World Report top regional ratings. The system features multiple hospitals and several dozen outpatient facilities including Behavioral Health Centers, Physician Practices and Oncology Care. The Medical Center includes Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services including top-rated Cardiac Bypass and Hip Replacement status. The center also features a 24/7 Emergency room and Community Health Mobile Unit.
The Regional Director Critical Care will oversee the entirety of the Critical Care Service Line across three separate health centers with a scope of 80+ Beds of oversight. This member of the Executive Leadership Team will report immediately to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Regional Director Critical Care will have administrative oversight including budget development and adherence and will foster relationships with physicians within the system.
In collaboration with the System Medical Director the Regional Director Critical Care will strategically align the Units with system organizational pillars, foster Shared Governance, develop and implement new programming and lead Joint Commission preparedness and Quality Assurance. The Regional Director Critical Care will be widely visible within the unit and also serve as a clinical expert in addition to an Administrator.
