Housekeeping Coordinator

Objective

Directly responsible for upholding company cleanliness standards through scheduling, coordinating and evaluating housekeeping and property care teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Hire, train and schedule cleaners.
  • Maintain housekeeping department schedule.
  • Professional with the ability to be functional in a team environment, capable of taking direction while being proactive and be able to perform with minimum supervision.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Physical Demands: Candidate is required to stoop, bend, stretch, twist, reach out, use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods, see details of objects that are less than a few feet away, as well as, push and lift 35lbs. Must be able to stand and be physically active for extended periods of time without getting tired or out of breath. Must be able to ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full-time position. Typical hours of operation 8 AM – 5 PM. Work schedule varies based upon business needs. Mandatory Saturdays, occasional Sundays and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Professional language
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background screening
