What You Will Do

Oversee the financial reporting process and the month-end close and continuously search for ways to improve the quality of both financial reports and the close process.

Oversee the productivity and accuracy of daily accounting and financial operation activities such as accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, and payroll.

Ensure an efficient audit process by working with external auditors and overseeing the annual audit process, as well as understanding the GAAP.

Create and maintain the company’s financial model that guides management's understanding of financial implications of key business decision and coordinate the annual budgeting process.

Generate variance reports and provide insights to financial drivers of the business, operational costs, and opportunities and risks.

Support management by proving analytical support with recurring and ad hoc performance reports.

Evaluate company ventures, programs, special projects, capital expenditures why providing financial analysis.

Ensure team is following and maximizing system potential by evaluating financial operations systems and ERP.

Ensure optimal accounting and business outcomes by assisting in the structuring of business contracts and by working with engineering, sales, and business development to resolve andy potential issues.

Comply with all government regulations reporting requirements and tax filings.

Create and execute internal controls and processes to drive best practices and ensure GAAP compliance.

How Are You Qualified

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Master’s Degree preferred

5+ years of accounting or audit experience

General understanding of GAAP and LEAN principals

Microsoft Office skills including Powerpoint, Project Manager, Excel, and Word
