Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in their supply chain by accurately picking and preparing products for shipment. This position requires great efficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for correctness of all distribution activities
- Operate a pallet jack
- Ability to use Movex system
- Required to maintain consistent and acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager
- Possesses the ability to understand and follow instructions
- Is able to work collaboratively and well with teammates
- Learn usage and presentation of Gemba board
- Look up returns and put away on daily basis
- Learn to pack proficiently and accurately including truck line shipments
- Meet standards for picking and packing
- Meet departmental goals and defined key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Follow distribution and receiving work instructions
- All behaviors must comply with the Code of Conduct and Company Policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Basic math skills, oral & written communication skills required to perform the tasks.
- Lift 1-30 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
