Have you graduated from college with a kinesiology or biology degree? Maybe you even have a BSN. You’ve worked a couple jobs at a couple companies, but the jobs you’re doing are just… jobs. You want something more. You want to be challenged. You want to set lofty goals, and when you achieve them, the reward is the victory itself, although a little financial reward never hurt anyone. You want to be held accountable. You want to make a difference.
Advanced Monitoring Services, Inc. is a fast-growing healthcare company that places highly-trained technologists in neurosurgical procedures to make surgery safer. We are looking for individuals ready to embark on a new career, not just another job. AMS is currently hiring very humble, very hungry, and very smart people to be trained as an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist. This immersive, fast-paced training experience is not for everyone. The information taught cannot simply be memorized, but must be learned well, learned quickly, and be applied effectively to create safer surgeries for our patients.
Based out of Northwest Arkansas, AMS is seeking someone to hire and train in Northwest Arkansas, before potentially being reassigned permanently to other parts of the United States (Topeka, KS). Candidates must be willing to relocate for short-term stints, or long-term assignments.
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and be willing to learn in-depth neuroanatomical and neurophysiological concepts. Candidates must be willing to complete our training program to obtain necessary IONM certification for the position.
To have success in this role, a candidate MUST be able to thrive under pressure by multi-tasking to complete the neuromonitoring studies, caring for the patient, and managing relationships with surgeons & hospital staff. The ideal candidate has a very high interest in working in the medical field by providing patient care in a surgical setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in an ever-changing, flexible work schedule, as work is performed when surgical procedures are performed; not just between the hours of 9:00-5:00. We offer a complete training program and dynamic compensation package with incentives for completion of training objectives, board certification, tenure, and for reaching team objectives. This position will be based out of Topeka, KS, but some training will be required at our home office in Northwest Arkansas.
