The Global Store Design team is seeking a proactive individual who will help execute the real estate strategy through store design and development. This individual will join the team to meet timelines for prototype development, new store roll-out, and remodel execution.
What will you be doing?
Work directly with Store Design Manager and Store Design Director in the planning and implementation of Global Real Estate projects through store design - includes all new stores, as well as fleet optimization efforts such as expansions, closures, down-sizes, relocations, and remodels.
Follow schedules for individual store projects and meet assigned deadlines that are provided by the Supervisor and/or Real Estate strategy.
Communicate schedule concerns to cross-functional partners in a pro-active, solution based manner.
Primary focus will begin on domestic store design, developing into international design.
Assist with concept deliverables (material boards, renderings, elevations, mock ups, etc)
Understands budget concerns during internal proposed and approved project phases.
Domestic and International travel.
What will you need to bring?
4-year degree, preferable in Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design
3-5 years of work experience, 2 or more years of retail design experience required
Proficient use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Sketch-up, 3D Modeling Programs)
Knowledge of general domestic code restrictions; knowledge of general international code restrictions preferred
General understanding of constructability
Organized and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Self-motivated – ability to work independently and drive results
Team player – work effectively with a team and diverse group of business partners
Receptive to feedback from multiple business partners
Energetic, positive, solution-based outlook
Articulate/good communication skills
