As a site reliability engineer, you are responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of production-scale systems. You support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You continuously measure, monitor, and maximize availability, efficiency, and performance of live services, applications, and systems. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in implementing system operations best practices while maintaining security controls, following disciplined configuration management processes, and broadening your knowledge base. 2+ years of experience in programming languages, including Perl, Python or Java
Experience with systems operations support
Experience with Splunk, ElasticStack or other log aggregation and reporting tools
Experience with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, AppInternals, Operations Bridge Manager)
Experience with incident management, triage and remediation
Knowledge of software architectures and enterprise integration patterns
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with specific Linux and Unix operations suppor
Experience with monitoring database management systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Experience with job scheduling
Knowledge of software development lifecycles
Knowledge of agile software delivery
Knowledge of DevSecOps
Knowledge of ITIL
