We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented and well-organized individual for a Dental Assistant position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as a member of a team, show strong communication skills and have excellent organizational abilities. Looking for a candidate with dental assisting experience and/or knowledge of assisting. Must have xray license, and dental assisting experience. Looking to hire immediately for a part time position Tuesdays and Thursdays or Monday to Thursday 4-5 hours per day. Occasionally Mon-Thurs 9:00 am to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during treatment and procedures.
- Communicate with the dentist, dental hygienist, and patients during dental treatment.
- Keep appropriate supplies on hand.
- Prepare rooms for treatment and procedures.
- Take x-rays of patient's teeth.
- Hours 9 am to 5 pm (2 to 4 days per week Mon, Tues, and Thurs, or Mon, Tues, and Wed. Schedule alternates) No Fridays.
