Position Overview:
As a Salon Assistant at Ergun Tercan European Salon, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both clients and staff. You will work closely with our talented stylists and technicians, assisting with a variety of salon tasks, including shampooing, toning, coloring, and preparing clients for services such as lightening and hair extensions. Whether you're gaining experience in the beauty industry or building on your existing skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a high-end salon environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist stylists with client preparation, including washing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair
- Prepare clients for color, lightening, and other treatments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and salon environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including greeting and escorting them to their stations
- Support stylists and technicians during hair extensions, color applications, and other services
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in top condition
- Assist in maintaining the salon's professional image, including supporting front desk operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed or actively pursuing licensure in Cosmetology (or equivalent state requirements)
- Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and grow
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Confident, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work atmosphere
- Experience with or willingness to undergo advanced training in salon services, including consultations, toning, coloring, and hair extensions
