The George Mason University, Facilities Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for an HVAC position in our Prince William location. This employee will perform skilled journey-level work to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of domestic and commercial type HVACR equipment; maintains and repairs trade-related refrigeration hot water/steam systems, air-handling equipment, and other related heating and HVAC equipment.
Significant demonstrated hands-on experience. Extensive knowledge in HVAC service and repair.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school, supplemented by completion of an acceptable apprentice-level HVACR training program.
A valid motor vehicle operator’s license with a good driving record.
HVAC Journey license, EPA-approved universal refrigerant recovery type I, II, & III CFC licenses and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license with a good driving record.
