About the Position: This position is for a Web Content Analyst GS-0301-11 with the Department of the Army, Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR), Child and Youth Services Division located at Fort Carson, CO.
NOTE: This is a TERM appointment NTE 2 years. Term appointments may be extended up to a total of 6 years. Noncompetitive conversion to a career-conditional or career appointment may be made under specific conditions.
You will serve as a Web Content Analyst with responsibility for the Enterprise Web CMS by maintaining the Mountain Post Living and DFMWR enterprise web sites, Sprinklr Social Media, data acquisition, analysis and monthly analysis reports.
You will support web technology efforts at the direction of the DFMWR Marketing Director by assisting in the development of new content and design.
You will research and develop new features to enhance web sites and social environments utilizing state-of-the-art communication strategies, web technologies and best practices.
You will administer web pages by maintaining content, design and functionality by utilizing HTML, Sprinklr data management and database administration.
You will participate in the deployment and maintenance of web-based content management applications.
You will assist in analyzing, testing, planning, implementing, and maintaining web-based systems using software necessary for facilitating specific web site communications.
You will use technical knowledge to analyze social communications, categorize and aggregate customer profiles, utilize analytical tools such as Tableau to produce analytical reports.
You will conduct predictive analytical studies for the DFMWR marketing department and make recommendations regarding programming viability based on analysis.
You will review and evaluate emerging technologies and the impact on DFMWR communication objectives and makes recommendations for utilization or modification.
Occasional travel - Business travel up to 10% may be required.

Specialized experience is defined as: performing web-content maintenance, management and/or administration; assisting in the development of new web content and design; researching new features to enhance web sites and social media environments; utilizing publishing systems and/or web content management systems; and producing analytical reports related to web content.

Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of specialized experience and graduate education beyond one year such that the total meets at least 100% of the requirement. To calculate the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying specialized experience by 12, then divide your total semester hours of graduate education beyond one year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total must equal at least 100% to qualify.
