VP, Finance & Operations

Litify is seeking a VP, Finance & Operations to lead our growing Finance and Operations team. This is a position based out of our headquarters in Brooklyn, NY.

You will:
  • Manage Finance & Operations group, currently two people and you, with open headcount to grow the team
  • Work with our Controller on finance functions and operations such as banking, accounting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, book keeping and our monthly close
  • Manage Sales Operations team, which includes responsibility for revenue operations, revenue recognition, deferred recurring revenue schedules and pricing analysis and quoting assistance, deal discount approvals and related tools and processes
  • Manage People Operations team, which consists of HR, recruiting and payroll and includes culture, compensation planning, including monthly commissions, bonuses, performance reviews, strategy and hiring forecasts
  • Oversee IT and facilities, including asset tracking, procurement and vendor management as well as managing staff who administer our software and systems (including salesforce.com, Pardot, Concur, Google apps, Slack and other key business applications) and IT helpdesk
  • Work with our Chief Revenue Officer to successfully forecast net cash burn based on sales forecasts and budgetary spend forecasts
  • Oversee travel and expense management approvals and process and approvals and process around procurement
  • Work with extended leadership team to prepare analysis of key financial and operational metrics for presentation in leadership team meetings and investor relations presentations
  • Report directly to the Co-Founder of Litify as part of the executive leadership team
You have:
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Finance or Economics, a CPA highly preferred
  • 10+ years experience in Operations and Finance in a B2B SAAS company
  • Strong experience with B2B SAAS Metrics, like ARPU, CAC, LTV, Churn and related ratios
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and extremely diligent and trustworthy
  • Leadership skills to own this department as we scale and grow into becoming our CFO or similar C-level executive
