Position Overview:
We’re looking for a candidate with a combination of artistic and organizational skills. The Design Production Assistant will primarily be responsible for assisting on the development of event decor from initial concept to final event installation & completion. This will include inventory, packing, construction of design elements, and assembly of all necessary items for the events that our company produces.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, preparing, packing, loading, unloading event decor items
- Reviewing event breakdown
- Assist in the construction of design elements for events
- Provides general support to production team not limited to organizing work area, taking sample photos, packing & restocking event toolkits
- Setting up decor at event venues according to client’s specifications.
- Lifting and moving heavy objects
- Maintain and update the product inventory list
Requirements
- Have diligent follow-through on every task assigned in a timely manner
- Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include: x-acto blades, paintbrush, spray paint
- Ability to work daytime and some weekends installations/strikes, if needed
- Ability to multitask, and follow instructions with strong interpersonal skills.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and climb ladders up to 12 feet.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks according to written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Be able to work under pressure and multi-task/manage competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality work

Work Remotely
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
