Within Global Procurement, Source to Contract Operations (S2C-Ops) is part of Deutsche Bank’s Procurement & Travel Operations (PTO) organization. We support the end-to-end Procurement process, and are directly responsible for connecting the company’s transactional procurement activities with strategic procurement. This includes the following: Contract & Enablement Services, Purchase Compliance, Buying Services, and Consumption Management.
S2C-Ops provides PTO process subject matter expertise to Strategic Procurement as a part of the new Deal Support team. This team will ensure that contracts negotiated by Strategic Procurement can be on-boarded and processed through one of the Bank’s approved purchasing channels.

Increase inclusion of PTO mandatory terms & conditions in new contracts
Drive cost controls, and enable further savings opportunities through consumption management

What You’ll Do
Become part of the Procurement Operations department and lead the rollout of the new Deal Support team services, including senior level discussions to train stakeholders on process changes, gain support, and implement.
Deliver Procurement and Travel Operations related contract terms and conditions to deal teams, and assist with contract negotiation of these terms
Understand the impact of non-compliant clauses for Procurement Operations and provide assessments to senior management
Support Buying Channel selection, as defined by cost category and respective Category Manager(s)
Trigger the operational implementation of signed contracts (vendor onboarding, buying channel design, catalog creation, etc.)
Business case development, commercial and valuation models, and feasibility studies
Drive process improvements based on your operational know how
Lead upcoming projects and on-demand tasks such as savings initiatives, audits or data requests
How You’ll Lead
Lead a global team with direct reports in 3 separate locations
Create partnerships with the Strategic Sourcing and business line organizations to help understand the requirements for a smooth contract handover into business as usual
Skills You’ll Need
Deep Procurement Operations experience, additional Strategic Procurement experience would be a plus
Proven record in optimizing Source2Pay processes
Experience in leading operational teams within the procurement domain
Experience in working with SAP Ariba modules, like Ariba Contract Workbench or P2P
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to get buy-in and commitment from other Procurement Operations stakeholders, like Accounts Payable or CSD
Willingness to challenge the status quo (to improve existing processes)
Ability to think strategically/conceptually, outside the box (natural curiosity)
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as in a team setting. Work in global teams across different time zones and within a matrix environment
Ability to monitor, track and clearly communicate progress, escalating issues when appropriate
Fluent in English (written/verbal)
