This is PumpMan s second New York City acquisition and complements its December 2017 purchase of Brooklyn-based PumpMan NYC (formerly Federal Pump Service &Repair). Serving New York City s five boroughs, Lower Westchester county, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey, ABC Electric Corp. dispatches knowledgeable, factory-trained technicians to conduct an array of field services such as motor rewind, pump repair, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Experience in all phases of pump and motor disassembly, diagnosis, repair, reassembly and testing is ideal.
Repair and rebuild various pumps, motors and rotating assemblies. We have a complete machine shop and extensive fleet of Service trucks. Knowledge and experience in all phases of pump and motor diagnosis repair and rebuild is required. Work is primarily performed at our repair facility for the water and waste water industry. Maintains tools and equipment; operates hand and power tools and shop equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
Have a minimum of two years related experience with pumps and motors in the field service or shop repair/rebuild areas.
Knowledge of OSHA standards; ability to operate forklifts, aerial work platforms and other equipment.
Required - Knowledge of pumps, motor controls and basic electricity.
Excellent attitude and customer orientation.
Must be insurable to drive company vehicles and pass a background investigation, physical evaluation and drug screening.
