GCC is searching for a Business Analyst to support an upcoming effort for the Department of Veteran's Affairs. GCC has extensive current and past performance supporting the VA. ***This is a contingent position based upon the award of the contract to GCC Technologies, LLC's team.***
Apply common best practices to assess and document business and system requirements, create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting business or technical solutions. Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components, and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed. Identify process and information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals. Develop, analyze and document business and functional requirements using approved techniques. Create and maintain requirement traceability Matrix and documentation.
10 years minimum related experience in business analysis
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Experience with the VA either professionally or as a Veteran
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experienced with Federal Government process improvements, development of roadmaps, developing and conducting surveys, meeting facilitation, and training
Some experience as a business analyst identifying data trends and anomalies
