Middle River - Middle River, MD
In-Depth Engineering seeks a part-time Structural Analyst to work on a multi-discipline engineering team to perform structural, shock, vibration, nonlinear and composite material analysis for multiple programs. The part time Structural Analyst will perform stress analysis, sizing and strength stiffness assessments utilizing finite element methods (FEM) and view post-processing results.
Work will be performed in Middle River, MD.

Assist with the reviews of Navisworks Simulation using Ship Construction scantlings to FD product markups
Assist with adjudicating USN FEM comments
Interface with engineering teams
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
2+ years of related experience
Proficiency with analytical techniques including basic structural analysis using FEM/FEMAP
Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications
Strong verbal and written communications skills
US Citizen and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
