Overview of the Role:
The Senior Vice President, IT Operations leads several teams across Privia Health’s Technology department and ensures the best technology environment is available for our doctors and Partners as they pursue Privia’s critical mission of making healthcare what it ought to be. The position has direct responsibility over Privia’s technology customer support team, including a national call center and field-based engineers, our core technology assets including email, phones, and productivity tools, and technology aspects of new provider on-boarding.

The Senior Vice President will need to be a strong people manager, strategic thinker, and expert project manager, leading new initiatives and solving complex business problems with an eye towards reducing costs and increasing productivity.

The Senior Vice President, IT Operations serves as the internal Subject Matter Expert on both technology and operations, and carries Privia’s HIPAA Security Officer designation with focus on IT security and privacy.

Primary Job Duties:
Oversee operations fast-based, rapidly growing customer service organization that delivers world class IT support for roughly 7,000 corporate and physician practice-based users
Manage technology implementation projects supporting Privia’s growth, including technology procurement, setup, data conversion, and go-live support
Plan and direct security, patches, and other change management activities of key technology deployments across Privia, including updates to desktop and server operating systems, antivirus, collaboration platform, electronic medical record platform, and more
Create, update, audit, and enforce IT security and privacy policies across corporate technologies and work locations, including management of annual Security Risk Assessment (SRA) process and remediation across Privia
Oversee routine issues from Privia compliance and legal teams
Oversee prioritization of projects and needs, guide strategy and innovation, and support implementation and overall project management
Deliver value-add services to Privia providers, including phone systems, legacy server consulting, data conversions, office moves, and more
Direct responsibility for planning, budgeting, and forecasting staff and expense for this department, oversight of technology procurement for corporate and practice needs

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
7+ years experience in a senior IT role in a healthcare environment
Experience working in and overseeing cloud-based platforms
Experience with enterprise-class technologies and services, including:
Helpdesk management and ticketing systems
VOIP phone systems
Multi-location networking
Corporate directory services
Knowledge of mixed platform (Windows, Mac) architectures
Contract management
Strong people management and leadership skills
Must comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations
