Two part-time associate research scientist positions are available in the Center for Quantum Information Physics under the direction of Professor Javad Shabani. This opportunity provides a transition to career independence through the development of professional skills; supervision by a senior scientist incorporating an individual development plan in support of training goals and those of faculty mentor; and publication of research findings/scholarship during postdoc appointment period.
This project attempts to make hybrid superconductor-semiconductor devices with emphasis on exploring class of protected qubits. Work will be focused on understanding novel superconducting in hybrid structures.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $26 - $26/hour, for 9 hours per week. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
