Work you’ll do
The Solution Specialist is responsible for selling and/or supporting the sale of MS&P solutions to clients/markets for Government & Public Services (GPS) and LRA, a Deloitte Business. The role is responsible for creating strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close a range of revenue generating projects, including infiltrating and influencing decision-makers at the highest levels within an account, often as a key player within the larger Deloitte Account team responsible for the account. The Solution Specialist will leverage these relationships to introduce Deloitte GPS and LRA client service professionals, and create and pursue selling opportunities. In addition, the Solution Specialist is responsible for demand management, i.e., working with professionals and delivery groups to determine the solution details and approach. The role involves:
Delivering and assisting in the development of training to promote awareness of Deloitte’s MS&P offerings and capabilities, while building relationships with key internal and external executives
Assisting Deloitte professionals with targeting, qualifying, and winning opportunities
Understanding the overall value proposition and presenting the competitive advantages of Deloitte MS&P full range of services to internal professionals and external clients
Leading and/or assisting with the development of the underlying business case for Deloitte MS&P on specific sales opportunities
Generating new business leads via working with the Deloitte Business Development team, developing relationships with potential clients and strengthening relationships with existing clients
Supporting the development of specific templates for Deloitte’s MS&P offerings for use by internal professionals (ex: RFI/RFP, Business Case, Proposal)
Assisting Deloitte professionals with price quotes and negotiations
Maintaining deep knowledge of Managed Risk Services products and services and understanding competitors' products and services
