In the role of Senior Rail Planner/Assistant Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
Conduct railway planning studies and railway operations modeling and analysis
Manage and participate in other types of transportation planning studies
Establish client relations and be involved with marketing activities for rail planning
Direct work of others in completion of required studies, documents and reports
Be involved in public participation and agency coordination
8+ years of relevant rail planning and operations modeling and analysis experience
Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
Understanding of rail transit planning principles and railway operations is required.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and personnel
Solid business development skills; demonstrated ability to relate well to clients; and demonstrated presentation skills
