We are looking for a Lighting Auditor/Estimator with either 1+ years of experience auditing commercial and industrial buildings or 2+ years of experience in the broad energy efficiency field that included some data analysis.
Lighting Auditor/Estimator Job Responsibilities
- Perform field surveys of existing lighting systems for interior and exterior lighting at commercial, office, healthcare, and governmental facilities
- Accurately identify fixture, lamp and ballast types, quantities, color temperatures, wattages, voltages, sensors and controls
- Configure, install, Check-in and Check-out data loggers, download and interpret data
- Read blueprints and floor plans, develop room-by-room analysis
- Identify emergency fixtures and lighting controls
- Recommend retrofits lighting solutions including fixtures, products, material and costs
- Prepare existing vs proposed calculations of demand (kW) and energy (kWh) consumption
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates and proposals with recommendations, indicating energy costs and savings
- Identify and calculate utility rebates and incentives

What You Need for this Position
- 1+ year of experience in conducting lighting audits for commercial and industrial facilities/buildings or 2+ years of experience in the broad energy efficiency field that included some data analysis
- Proficient with MS Excel and Word
- Proficient math, analytical, and data collection skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a driver’s license and be willing to travel 20-30% of the time (company vehicle available for work travel)
- Able and willing to climb ladders and stairs
