Collection Analyst Positions – Florham Park, NJ and Florham Park/New Providence, NJ (1802836)
We have two open positions in NJ. One of the positions will be based in Florham Park, NJ and the other will split their time between Florham Park, NJ and New Providence, NJ.
Where the Chemistry Happens
The Credit Department (FFN-C) is seeking two Credit professionals like you who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts receivable. As a collection analyst, you will be responsible for assigning credit lines up to $75K, reviewing orders that do not pass the credit data checks, collecting open receivables and managing customer accounts to ensure smooth flow of orders and cash receipts. Strong time management and the ability to multi-task are necessary to balance the demands of the role. This role includes participation in monthly meetings with business personnel to review accounts and monthly results.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, you will establish credit lines, analyze customer data and other sources to set credit lines that will support the business while taking into consideration risk for BASF.
By successfully managing your time, you will prioritize and balance the demands of the role as it relates to responding to inquiries, clearing past due items and releasing new orders.
Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, will be a valued asset as you effectively manage customer accounts and establish strong relationships with your customers and stakeholders.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will take the lead on driving resolution of customer issues and responding to inquiries with assistance from other stakeholders.
Making prompt judgement calls on time-sensitive issues, you will assist in satisfying customer needs and supporting business growth.
With your team approach, you will provide timely information to others in Credit and in the business on collection topics and targets.
