We have an immediate opening for a Toolmaker/Molder/Die maker with 5+ years’ experience. You will utilize your hands on experience as a mold maker, utilizing CNC and EDM. With a high level of independence, this position will be responsible for:
- Experience in the trade is required including die/mold repair, disassembling/assembling dies/molds, lathes, grinders, traditional tool room machines and equipment.
- Background in the set-up and operation of CNC machines is preferred.
- EDM knowledge is a plus.
- Has the skill to handle repairs in or out of the machines.
- This position requires the ability to work on projects in a die cast tool room environment and perform various machining operations to accomplish repairs, modifications, and building of dies
Requirements for Tool Maker:
- 3+ years’ Tool Maker experience in Plastics Injection Molding
- Journeyman mold maker
- Mold Repairs
- Good Knowledge of machine tool operation including: Lathe work, Mill work etc,
- Experienced in CNC or EDM is preferable
- Ability to weld (MIG, TIG, LASER)
- Organizational skills – you know how to keep a tool room tidy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A full range of body motion is required, including bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and wrist action. Heavy lifting is required, but assistance and mechanical devices are to be used with objects and equipment over 50 pounds.
