Oversees multimedia projects in conjunction with the Lead Football Video Coordinator/ videographer and executes the shooting, editing, and production needs. Creates project workflow structures and ensures projects are delivered on the deadline.
Oversees and handles all video and technological needs for coaches. Adheres to department procedures and systems.
Executes independently, the shooting of practice (up to 8 angles) for coaches' video purposes including cameras, lifts, drone, etc. Executes a schedule of production to complete and regularly communicate progress.
Edits practice and game film on XOS digital editing system for coaches and student-athletes including data break down, cutups, overlays, headings, reports, and etc.
Responds to requests for video needs to include game analysis, scouting, and instructional training purposes.
Downloads NFL film for student athlete education purposes.
Serves as liaison between coaches and XOS Digital Support and serves an IT capacity within the football office and serve as liaison to the university IT department.
Provides audio set up within all team meetings, locker room, practiee, etc.
Ensures all technological needs regarding XOS, computers, and projectors for all team, staff, and position meetings are met.
Organizes the trade and import game film with opponents in accordance with applicable guidelines. Acquires and distributes films on upcoming opponents. Serves as liaison to NFL Scouts in regards to game film.
Produces and delivers all creative video content for weekly highlights using appropriate video editing platforms.
Films all home and away games according to C-USA and NCAA rules.
Provides support for all student athlete film needs.
Works in cooperation with and support Social Media Specialist.
Assists in maintaining and monitoring video department budget with attention to detail.
Ensures all equipment is kept up to date and in working order. Recommends purchase of new equipment and supplies and performs routine maintenance related equipment. Informs management of preventative maintenance and repairs on instructional media equipment and coordinates equipment to be outsourced for repair.
Maintains a broad knowledge of state of art technology and systems. Remains current with all technology rules and changes.
Recruits and supervises student workers, volunteers, temporary employees, etc in video department. Trains faculty, staff, and students in the operation of associated equipment.
Conducts research on price comparison, cost analysis, and secure the best possible price on video needs to utilize the football budget effectively.
Adheres to all State of Florida, University, Conference USA, and NCAA rules, regulations, and policies pertaining to the position Assistant Video Coordinator.
Acquires and distributes films on upcoming opponents.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Bachelor's degree in related field and five (5) years of experience in related field, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Some experience guiding and supporting employees.
