Consults with classroom teachers to coordinate services for ELL students Provides learning experiences and teaches English language development instruction as prescribed by the Norwood Public Schools approved curriculum. Provides academic content support services for all ELL students. Administers entry, exit and annual testing to all ELL students including, Placement and Exit Assessment and annual standard (ACCESS) assessments. Monitors former ELL students.
Participates in Student Support Team (SST) Meetings. Provides SES training for all staff. All of the above duties and responsibilities reflect and respond to the Department of Education's requirements and mandates.
