ProCare Prosthetics and Orthotics is looking for a Certified Athletic Trainer to assist our clinical team in serving the prosthetic and orthotic community.
ProCare Prosthetics is a family-owned clinic with five locations in the greater Atlanta area. We are in our 25th year and take great pride in being responsive to the needs of patients, their families and referral sources. We serve and care for patients who have undergone amputations of various levels as well as patients requiring custom bracing needs. Our board-certified and licensed practitioners provide primary care and oversight to these patients as we evaluate, fit and provide follow up care to them. We are looking for medical assistants with an athletic training background to assist our team in providing the best possible service and care to these patients.
*Assisting in administrative and clinical tasks to ensure responsive patient care.
*Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of a prosthetist and/or orthotist.
*Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with all patients
*Maintain and adhere to all HIPAA laws and patient privacy standards
*Assist licensed staff with patient needs and care
*Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure responsive and compliant care
*Adhere strictly to ProCare policies and guidelines.
*Experience in a health-related field preferred; including experience with EMR’s (electronic medical records)
*ATC (Athletic Trainer Certified) preferred
*Post-completion of ATC program; eligible for certification reviewed on case by case basis.
