Farmpark Interpretation Specialist assists the Interpretation and Education Manager with the development/management of staff, while delivering exceptional educational/interpretive programs to various audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education or Museum studies preferred, or 2-3 years of equivalent experience in related fields.
Demonstrated understanding of natural sciences.
Stand-up presentation and training skills, demonstrating versatility and creativity.
In-depth written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to write for publication.
In-depth interpersonal skills: demonstrated emotional intelligence; proven track record of establishing and maintaining critical relationships internally and externally; demonstrated trust and integrity.
Exceptional supervisory, leadership, and customer service skills.
In-depth computer skills; Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated flexibility, ability to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task, and work with a wide variety of people in an effective environment.
Must have valid drivers’ license in Ohio with acceptable record to be insured on Agency’s policy.
